Bogey gave this bracelet to her in reference to Bacall’s famous line from their first movie together, To Have and Have Not. It’s inscribed with the phrase, “If you want anything, just whistle.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe I’ve read somewhere that the bracelet was buried with Bogeyupon his death in 1957.
